An Idea To Help You Write Great Content

Search engine spiders scour the web for content that will be of particular use to anyone doing a search. If they were human, you might say that finding sites with quality content that is relevant and unique would be considered the ultimate goal – as displaying these sites in the search results should give the searcher what they are looking for, and a happy searcher is one who will come back and use the particular search engine again.

Therefore, it should come to no surprise that some of the most popular websites, in terms of visitors and content, are also the sites that tend to rank highly in the SERPs. (search engine result pages)

So, if you have a website, it becomes important to write and write often. But the problem many website owners have is the ability (or time perhaps) to create and keep writing valuable, relevant, quality content on a consistent basis. The concept of writer’s block becomes all too real.

So this is usually where most people start turning to professional internet copywriters for help. And while there is nothing inherently wrong with doing this, if you’d like to save your cash and give this whole writing thing one more try, perhaps the following will help.

The key word here is quality content. The more quality content you provide, the higher you can expect to position yourself over your competition in the SERP’s.

One way to look at your website/blog is this way. It’s a certified way to tell the SE’s who you are and that you are, in fact, an authority figure – keeping up-to-date with fresh information to potential clients, customers, etc.

So how do you create quality content as a Blog entry, let’s say, in a matter of minutes?

Many times, if you want to pound out a Blog entry quickly, you may decide to simply talk about your expertise – talk about yourself, because it’s what you know. . .

Don’t do that please.

The problem is, your perspective client, customer, etc. is probably NOT questioning your expertise. Most folks will assume you worked hard to become a great doctor, and they will assume it took you years of additional training to become a skilled rodeo clown. They don’t really need you to appeal to them in this way. Besides, most of this info is splashed throughout your website anyway.

Ok, so what should I “appeal” to in my Blog?

Human emotions drive sales for products as well as services, offline as well as online. People want your services for emotional reasons. A woman in Los Angeles secretly hopes that a rhinoplasty will make her more appealing to men. A man in Texas needs a personal injury lawyer because he really was hurt on the job and can no longer provide for his family. These are emotional reasons to seek out help. And when these folks go online to start a search, your job is to make sure your website has the answer to their emotional problem.

So, what can you really provide someone that will make his or her life better? Figure this out and put this information on your website or blog. I guarantee you will not only get more business, but higher rankings in the SE’s as well. And remember, use your testimonials for ideas as well.
